Letter of Protection

Many individuals are injured from an automobile accident or a slip and fall incident. Often the injured person is in need of medical care, but the expense can be tremendous. If that injury was the result of somebody else’s negligence and you are not able to cover the cost of your medical care, your attorney can issue a Letter of Protection (LOP). A Letter of Protection is a legal document asking your doctor to hold the medical bills until the case is resolved. The injured person promises to pay the doctor at that time.

At Southwest Spine and Orthopedic Center we accept Letter of Protection cases ensuring that an injured person can get the proper medical care and treatment needed to restore their pre-injury health.
